Program Contents

What ?

You want to work in the Cinema, Visual Effects, Special Effects, 3D Computer Graphics, Animation all over the world ? You can learn at O3D ASIA a real profession, like hundreds have done before in Objectif 3D.

Our teaching is based on the professionnal work environnement : the training course is essentially based on practical use of CG tools and you will realize common projects with othe students, as done in studios. The goal is to provide technical and human know-how qualities and behavior.

Learning content

On the first year, the students will learn the basics of each specialization to know the procedures and the pipeline of a 3D production.
On the second year, depending on each student’s abilities they will be oriented on a specialization and learn it more deeply.

1st year - Professional 3D Computer Graphics
Softwares : Adobe Photoshop, Newtek Lightwave 3D, Autodesk Softimage XSI

• Modeling : curve based meshes, polys subdivisions, organic modeling
• Texturing : materials creation, 2D tools, UV mapping
• Lighting : traditionnal lighting, atmosphere creation
• Rendering : cameras management, rendering in passes
• Animation : keyframing, bones creation, distorsions management, organic animation

2nd year - 3D Specialization
Softwares : Autodesk Softimage XSI, Adobe Premiere

• Lighting/Rendering or Animation - Advanced Level
• Developpement and uses of production pipelines
• Realisation of a 2 specialties common project
• Post-production : video montage, visual effects

Diploma ?

After the 2 years course, you can take the exam for the french diploma registered by the french government : "Infographiste 3D"

Language ?

The teachers are french but all the courses are held in English

Job opportunities ?

With the knowledge and techniques you will acquire during the two years course and the French diploma when can provide, you will be able to apply in companies all over the world.
Also, we are doing what is needed to bring studios to Cambodia.

Who ?

The admission is generally after high school graduation. 
You also need to be motivate by a real interest in the domain and have a basic artistic knowledge.

How much ?

Educational fees : 2 500$ per year.
